Air Service Training (Engineering) Ltd (AST) has been providing aeronautical engineering training to the world’s Airlines, Maintenance Organisations and Military formations for over 90 years. During that period AST has developed a global reputation for innovative, effective, and high-quality training strategies to meet industry needs. AST is Part 147 approved and delivers Part 66 approved training to meet the requirements of both the UKCAA (UK.147.0002) & EASA (EASA.147.0174) Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licences. In addition to delivery at its main site in Perth, Scotland, AST delivers training at two Second Site locations in the Middle East. Additionally, AST offers short modular courses and examinations, or examination only to meet the requirements for: National licence conversion, Initial licence issue following the “Self-Improver” route and Extensions to basic Part 66 Licence Categories. AST can also offer innovative bespoke and recurrent training solutions to meet all aviation engineering requirements.
