STATUS OF THE NGRC PROGRAMME - ROAD TOWARDS CONCEPT SOLUTIONS

NGRC Programme is running a concept stage to identify possible concept solutions. The main studies are made of 3 Integrated Platform concept reviews, each review will recommend up to 2 concept solutions against NGRC attributes and CONOPS. These studies are awarded in 2024 and results shall be presented to the NGRC Nations by end 2025 before proceeding to concept design activities.

About Cyril Heckel

Cyril Heckel is currently the Next Generation Rotorcraft Capability (NGRC) Programme Manager for its Concept Stage at NSPA.

He has been working within international defense programme environment for the last 19 years, operating 7 years at OCCAR and the last 5 years at NSPA.
He concluded his 23-year Naval officer career in 2018 where he served on several operational units between 1997 and 2002 before directing his career towards Naval Programme Management.

He was graduated from the Naval Academy in 1998, from SUPELEC engineering school in 2004 and from the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program in 2018.
