Challenge Director – Future Flight, UKRI
The Future Flight Challenge proposal forms one of the UK Government’s Challenge programmes executed by UKRI. It involves a £300m programme through to 2023/24 to research, plan and demonstrate new integrated systems of aviation using low-carbon and autonomous technologies. The intent is to create a system-of-systems demonstration covering innovative regulation/airspace management, ground-to-air infrastructure and new service concepts for novel aircraft such as drones and Advanced Air Mobility vehicles. It will create a real-world development environment for the 3 rd revolution of aviation.
