Augmented Reality as Enabler for Drone Pilots
Augmented Reality can increase the situational awareness of drone pilots, freeing them from staring at confined screens at controllers, instead seeing everything in the sky where the drone is. We present use cases where AR (Augmented Reality) can be of benefit for drone pilots in demanding, critical missions. We also present how AR can revolutionize drone pilot training, relieving pilot training from any weather or permission restrictions.
